Capt. Damascene Thomas D'Souza

He was a Captain at sea and a father at home — fully one or the other, never halfway. He went to work at a young age so that everyone after him could have an easier life, and he kept his word for the rest of it. We will miss his calm, his smile, and the quiet way he loved us.
